The LMC Certificate of Conformity (COC) is an official manufacturer-issued document confirming that your vehicle complies fully with European Union type approval and environmental standards.

When registering an imported LMC across European licensing authorities, this certificate provides the verified technical specifications required to calculate road taxes, emissions classes and approved tyre specifications for models like Innovan, Tourer, Cruiser and all models.

Please note: The COC is available only for vehicles up to 20 years old, based on the date of first registration shown in Field B of the registration document.

• Engine specifications: Displacement, maximum net power output, fuel type (petrol, diesel or electric powertrain), and specific engine identification code.
• Dimensions and weights: Overall length, width, height, unladen kerb weight, maximum permissible gross mass, and towing capacity ratings.
• Emissions & taxation: Specific CO₂ emissions ratings and exhaust environmental standard (Euro standard), which determine local vehicle taxation.
• Tyres: Complete list of manufacturer-approved wheel and tyre combinations (sizes, load indices, speed ratings).
• Additional data: Official manufacturer paint code, passenger seating capacity, exhaust noise levels in dB(A), and maximum design speed.

To process your motorhome COC, we need the 17-character VIN and the second-stage manufacturer plate (LMC). You can locate them here:

• On the entrance step or in the engine compartment: The official LMC plate we require is usually riveted or affixed as a sticker on the living area entrance step (cabin doorstep) or, on some models, inside the engine compartment. This plate must display the name LMC and its European type-approval number.
• On the registration document: The 17-character VIN is stated under section 'E' of your vehicle registration papers or title.
• Warning! Do not confuse with the base chassis plate: In the engine compartment or on the driver/passenger door pillar, you will also find the base vehicle manufacturer plate (Fiat, Ford, Mercedes, etc.), known as the first stage. To issue the motorhome COC, we strictly need the plate showing LMC, not the one for Fiat or Ford.
• Important note: Enter your VIN without spaces when ordering. Pay special attention not to confuse the letter 'O' with the number '0'.
